So many beauty and body products, even though natural, is packaged in non-recyclable plastic containers. Why not try to reduce your plastic waste and move to natural beauty products with one product range?
Based in East London, The Soap Co. collections are crafted in the UK by people who are blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged. Our no compromise approach means we take pride in paying attention where it matters, from our award-winning minimalist design to locally sourced bottles and compostable soap wrappers. We believe our products should be good and do good.
Using botanical extracts, nourishing vitamins and pure essential oils, we create cruelty-free and paraben-free products that nurture and care for your skin.
We work hard to reduce our environmental impact
To reduce impact on the environment, all our products are crafted in the UK with ingredients and materials that are locally sourced wherever possible – we’re the antidote to mass-production overseas.
But it doesn’t stop there. We always strive to be more sustainable. Our bottles are made from old milk bottles and we have a new plastic-free collection made from aluminium, which can be recycled infinitely.
We’re environmentally conscious even down to the finer details. With compostable stickers, biodegradable glue and a film made from renewable wood pulp that looks like plastic, we pay attention to every detail.
As a social enterprise we believe in equal opportunities
As a social enterprise, every time you use choose one of The Soap Co. products, you are creating life-changing job opportunities. 80% of our employees are blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged, but with the aim to generate over 60 new jobs per year, we’re not stopping.
Whether they’re looking for long-term employment or just that first step onto the career ladder, we believe in equal opportunities and choose our staff based on ability, regardless of disability.
