Ingredients
  • 200gram chickpeas – cooked
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 5 tbsp cold water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 small clove garlic – minced
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
  • Add all the ingredients (apart from the olive oil and paprika) to a blender and blend to a smooth paste
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and top with a sprinkle of paprika and drizzle with olive oil
  • Enjoy as a dip with some toasted pita bread or as an accompaniment to your favourite Middle-Eastern meal
