In 2016 we became involved with this project as it was of local interest and a way to honour a British hero that has pretty much been forgotten by UK education and media. Amy Johnson is an aviator legend, who died off the coast of Herne Bay in 1941.

The project is run by Jane Priston, who was looking for funding when we met. We decided to help Jane and the project by offering to create them a logo, poster, postcard and new website free of charge, as a sponsor. We still update the website and make sure it runs smoothly.

“Thank you so very much for believing in us and supporting the project by applying your skills and expertise to raise our profile and help us to develop an image that reflects the pride and integrity of the work that we do.”

1

A WordPress site

We base all our websites on WordPress, for the convenience of creation but also for empowering our clients to update the site themselves. This was an initial requirement of the Amy Johnson Project.
2

Responsive by default

The Amy Johnson website is now responsive. So when visited, the images and text will adapt to the screen that is being used. This is a basic requirement in web design these days.
3

Easy to navigate

The Amy Johnson site was created to be easy to use. It's purpose is to educate people about Amy Johnson and the main projects that are being worked on in her memory. The audience the site attracts covers a spectrum of ages, so simple navigation is essential.
