The PÜRE Collection is the only truly prestige skincare brand that is Certified Organic to COSMOS Standard by Ecocert, Vegan and members of Cruelty-Free International and PETA.

Setting us apart from other skincare brands is that we choose not to use the more common oils and ingredients, but instead use rare and exotic ingredients including real Rose Otto from Bulgaria, Tamanu from Vanuatu, Prickly Pear from Morocco, and Oud from South Asia.

Our award-winning formulations provide actual treatment for healthy ageing skin with proven efficacy.

Since inception, we have drawn inspiration from nature to formulate our skincare. We have developed Phyto-Health™, a botanical line so pure and organic, that its simplicity will transform over time to give the look and feel skin deserves.

100% transparent, reflected in the fact that we formulate in-house, we never out-source, and do not hide behind vague terminology as ‘fragrance’, ‘scents’ or ‘perfume’ that many manufacturers do. We list exactly what is in the bottle so you know exactly what you will be applying.

We marry natural and organic with luxury and sophistication to produce a sybaritic wholly-organic skincare brand with a simple, but uncompromising approach in ethical skincare for the discerning conscious consumer.

The Difference between ‘ORGANIC’ and ‘CERTIFIED ORGANIC’ skincare.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC
To be Certified Organic a company must prove its products contain a minimum of 95% Organic ingredients. The company must adhere to, and undergo strict, time consuming and costly regulations, including an annual visit by one of the authorised organic and natural certification bodies who designate and award Certified Organic designations.

ORGANIC
Be careful of labelling on cosmetic and skincare products.

Organic skincare products are the formulation of using organically farmed ingredients. These ingredients are grown without the use of genetically modified organisms (GM), herbicides, synthetic fertilisers and more.
HOWEVER, in the EU, there is no legal definition of ‘Organic’ in the cosmetic industry. Therefore a company could label a product “Organic” even if it only contains 1% of organically produced ingredients.

The certification process is independent and rigorous.

The PÜRE Collection is certified by ECOCERT which is one of several authorised Organic and Natural Certification bodies, the others being Soil Association and USDA amongst others.

ECOCERT reviews the entire manufacturing process, including sourcing of all ingredients, formulation procedures including on-site inspections where companies must furnish energy and water usage information and environmental waste management plans and pass strict hygiene controls to name a few amongst other rigorous testing.

If a brand has passed the certification process, they are given the ‘seal of approval’ being awarded the ECOCERT logo to use across their branding.

By having the ECOCERT logo on the product, you know you are choosing a cosmetic product that says:

  • NO Animal Testing
  • NO GM
  • NO Controversial Chemicals
  • NO Parabens and Phthalates
  • NO Synthetic Colours, Dyes or Fragrances
  • NO Nano Particles
  • YES to Higher levels of Antioxidants (up to 60%)
  • YES to Sustainably Sourced Organic Ingredients
  • YES to Transparent Manufacturing Processes
  • YES to Biodegradable Ingredients
  • YES to Minimal Packaging with Maximum Recycled Content
  • YES to Protecting Wildlife and Biodiversity

Be aware of companies saying their products contain Certified Organic ingredients as this does NOT mean that their brand is Certified Organic or that their product is even Organic. It is pitiful that many ‘beauty/skincare experts, bloggers, and influencers, beauty retailers and beauty e-commerce sites STILL do not know the difference between ‘ORGANIC’ and ‘CERTIFIED ORGANIC’.

What is The COSMOS Seal of Approval?
The seal of approval from ECOCERT or any of the other cosmetic Organic Certifiers is the logo printed on the front of the product and crucial when you want to be 100% confident of your Certified Organic skincare products. Products with this logo also have to list if they contain any non-organic ingredients as well as the actual percentage of organic ingredient in the product. With this logo, you can be confident in the knowledge that you are indeed purchasing what you intend to.

“When it comes to organic skincare products you should be aware of what you are buying, as they may not be as ‘organic’ as they claim”.

The PÜRE Collection is an award-winning certified organic skincare brand. Natural plant oil skincare that is cruelty free, vegan and toxin free.

Look out for the Logo
Look for the Regulatory bodies logo on the packaging of the products along with the actual percentage of organic ingredients in the product. (If these are missing you can be sure your product is not Certified Organic).
